2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the FitWard AI service.
• Generate and refine AI-powered resume suggestions.
• Process cryptocurrency subscription payments and manage your plan.
• Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support.
• Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve the product (using anonymised or pseudonymised data where possible).

3. AI Processing

When you use AI features, the relevant resume content is sent to our AI processing pipeline to generate suggestions. We do not sell your resume content. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and understand how it is used.

• Essential cookies are required for the Service to function (e.g. session management, authentication state).
• Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised, aggregate data about page visits and feature usage. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce additional analytics tools, we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain your consent.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some features from working correctly.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate FitWard AI: Vercel (hosting and edge infrastructure), Vercel Analytics (anonymous usage analytics), cryptocurrency payment processor (subscription billing), and AI model provider (AI suggestion generation). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your data to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS) for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
• Encryption at rest for stored resume content and personal data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Export a copy of your resume data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the rights listed above under the General Data Protection Regulation. Our legal bases for processing include contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal data.

10. International Data Transfers
